Ah, yes this was the one I meant to add. I don't have really any criticism for this one. I really like the the shadows played into the face. It's a neat effect not being able to really see the face. It's also a nice angle, I like how the grass is so tall that it makes you look up at the sky and notice how pretty it is. It's ties in very nice together.

It was the colors that nailed me on this one. I feel like I might be getting closer to what I want with my portraits these days.

That's awesome. That's more than what I can say, I haven't have any inspiration or anything really interesting to photograph. I really haven't had the time either. Sometime this summer I am just going to spend like a week and focus on that I think. That colors in this shot are really neat though

recently I've been taking a lot of my artistic frustrations out on photo-manipulation not photography. That's just because I feel I really haven't had anything to take pictures of.

Ahh, I completely understand.
Don't let it get the best of you though, photo-manipulation can get out of hand quickly.

yes, I know thanks for the warning that. It's really why I go through phases with it. I'll be really into it for like a month or so and then won't do it for like months maybe even a year. Honestly the last time I did this type of manipulation with my pictures was like 2 years ago. Well I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with next =]
